Hi, my WebCounter tells me you are visitor to The Elms, Colac, Australia website (elmsbb.com). . . . . . . .Thank You!. . . . . . . . . . This website is best viewed in 800x600 resolution.

The Elms B&B is the perfect stop for your ideal weekend getaway or vacation in Colac, country Victoria, Australia.

You're only 40 minutes from some of Victoria's best beaches, and The Great Ocean Road - one of the world's most scenic routes where you can discover the world famous 12 Apostles, Bell's Beach, Apollo Bay, Lorne, or the Otway Mountain Ranges amongst other fantastic places.

Be on the look out in your travels, for legend has it that the 'Beast from Barongarook' sometimes meanders by the roadside late at night. Some say it may be that all elusive, terrifying Australian Bunyip.

Explore my Interests page for a selection of great entertainment ideas, or scan my Events page for annual events held in and around Colac.

The Elms was built in 1883 for Dr. Foster as the local surgeon's residence and practice. Since then, an extension to the kitchen has been built and the original front of the house (as seen in the old photo to the right), is the right side of the house today.

In 1996 the house was purchased by Carmen Zahra and became a AAA rated 3.5 star bed and breakfast with 3 splendid rooms to choose from. Each room has its own central heating, TV and video for your comfort and enjoyment.
